Lucky dozen won trip to Patriots' game
T-Bones and Cactus Jack's have announced the winners of their third annual Gridiron Getaway promotion, which sent 12 people to the Patriots vs. Indianapolis Colts game in Foxboro, Mass., on Dec. 4.
The Gridiron Getaway winners are Kaley Gaudette (Salem T-Bones), Mickey Fitts (Hudson T-Bones), Mary Myatt (Bedford T-Bones), Marie Michaud (Derry T-Bones), Becky Boulin (Manchester Cactus Jack's) and David Hurd (Laconia T-Bones/Cactus Jack's).
T-Bones Great American Eatery is in Bedford, Derry, Salem, Hudson and Laconia, and Cactus Jack's is in Manchester and Laconia.
Ophthalmologist joins Spindel Eye
Dr. David Vazan recently joined Spindel Eye Associates. He is seeing patients in the Derry, Lon-donderry and Salem offices.
He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Rochester and his medical degree from New York Medical College.
Vazan entered private practice in 2008 as a comprehensive ophthalmologist. He has extensive experience in medical, surgical and laser treatment of eye diseases.
McCormick certified in long-term care
LONDONDERRY — Terence G. McCormick of Ameriprise Financial Services Inc. has been awarded a professional degree in the field of long-term care, Certified in Long-Term Care. The program is independent of the insurance industry and focuses on providing financial service professionals the tools needed to meet their client's long-term care needs.
"The field of long-term care is complex. It intersects with other professions such as financial planning, tax law, home care, government funding and elder law," McCormick said. "My ability to serve the community depends on understanding what resources, such as housing and services, clients will need as they age and how they will be paid for."
