DERRY — Billy’s Frozen Yogurt opened at 61 Crystal Ave. in April and is having a Grand Opening on Sept. 21 from 1 to 4 p.m.
Billy’s offers 14 different flavors of yogurt and sorbet. Some flavors are made with goat’s milk for those lactose-intolerant customers.
The event will feature live music and Isaac the goat, with his owner, Bill. The first 200 people will receive a special offer.
There will be a raffle for a frozen yogurt party for 10.
Moonlight Meadery joins tasting session
New Hampshire made wine, spirits, meads and ciders were on full display last week at Flag Hill Winery & Distillery as the New Hampshire Liquor Commission held its first-ever employee tasting and training session exclusively for New Hampshire wine and spirits.
The growing demand for local products, coupled with NHLC’s commitment to support New Hampshire’s bourgeoning wine and spirit industry, prompted two days of training.
More than 200 full and select part-time staff sampled wine, spirits, meads and ciders from New Hampshire’s top six selling manufactures, including Moonlight Meadery of Londonderry.

“When you think of New Hampshire, a number of spectacular images come to mind. Our goal is to encourage consumers and visitors to think of our homegrown wine and spirits as well,” NHLC Chairman Joseph Mollica said. “There are 11 New Hampshire producers of wines, ciders, and meads, as well as four distillers of spirits in the Granite State. We are committed to promoting these products to the millions of consumers who make purchases in our stores annually. The best method of encouraging purchases is to provide our employees with hands-on experience through tastings and training sessions so they can get a better understanding of these products and inform customers.”
