N.H. SCORE offers QuickBooks workshop
A New Hampshire chapter of SCORE, in its volunteer counseling of more than 1,000 entrepreneurs every year, has found that although many small businesses use QuickBooks to handle basic accounting, some only glance at the profit line every month and then stick the report in a drawer.
To fill this gap, Merrimack Valley SCORE is introducing a new workshop aimed at QuickBooks users. Presented by a QuickBooks and financial expert and supplemented by SCORE members, the workshop is specifically designed to provide an understanding of the key financial reports that QuickBooks can generate and the simple ways small businesses can use them to help run their business more efficiently and effectively.
SCORE’s “Financial Reports Using QuickBooks” workshop will be held Oct. 24 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Dion Center, 16 Clement St. on the Rivier University campus in Nashua. It’s an interactive workshop, with time set aside for questions.
