DERRY | Town Administrator Gary Stenhouse said he's not moving to Derry, despite a clause in his contract saying he must be a resident by July 9.
If the Town Council tries to hold him to the residency requirement, Stenhouse speculated he might leave.
"When you get toward 65, you start thinking about retiring," Stenhouse, 64, said during an interview in his office yesterday. Glancing over at a console covered with framed pictures of his grandchildren, he added a bit wistfully, "They're only young once."
