Jonathan Garcia may have hit a patch of loose sand that caused him to lose control of his dirt bike on Sunday morning, Capt. Vernon Thomas said on Monday.  He was riding on the Rockingham Recreational Trail when he crashed just before 11 a.m., police said.

        DERRY | A Derry District Court judge has ruled that former Chester Selectman Leroy Scott is not guilty of stalking a female town employee.  &lt;br class="zc-v4-fix" /&gt;&lt;br class="zc-v4-fix" /&gt; Scott, 77, of 328 Derry Road, had been charged with the class A misdemeanor but after two days of trial, Derry District Court Judge Robert Stephen found that Scott was not guilty of targeting the town's former bookkeeper, Carol Sheehan.&lt;br class="zc-v4-fix" /&gt;&lt;br class="zc-v4-fix" /&gt; Scott was arrested last May in connection with the two incidents that occurred on June 1, 2006 and Sept. 12, 2006
