Wearing Obama stickers and holding American flags, Londonderry parents, from left, Maggie Saur, Vincent Leonard and Bob Saur, were among the many who came out in the snow to give a send-off to the band and color guard. The Saurs, who congregated with others outside Mack’s Apples, have two children in the Lancer Band, Matthew Saur, who plays a 40-pound bass drum, and Russell Saur, who plays alto saxophone.
